At Tanaechi in Pomona, we are an apparel design company that specializes in the production of designer dresses, bridals and special occasion dresses that include but are not limited to Wedding gowns, Reception dresses, Bridesmaid dresses, Evening wear, Anniversary dresses, Cocktail, Prom, Party, Aso-ebi and Quinceañera dresses.
Finding the right dress can be hard but if you can envision how the dress will look, our fashion designer will do her best to make sure it is a reality.
About the designer
Florence Obi is a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) Los Angeles, California. She was inspired to start her own fashion label shortly after her debut fashion show of special occasion dresses in 2005. After the show, someone contacted her to make her wedding gown. It was definitely an honor for Florence to be trusted with such a special dress for a very important occasion such as this. Long story short, the client was satisfied and very impressed and the rest as they say is history.
She loves the adventure of not only meeting a client for the first time but also being able to interpret her fashion dreams for her special dress and then creating an exquisite masterpiece.
When she is not designing lovely clothes, she enjoys cooking, reading, badminton, spending time with family, friends and helping the less privileged in the community. She is happily married with children.
